Lofty Strike completed the first step of trainer Julius Sandhu’s autumn plan with his decisive success in the Group 2 Rubiton Stakes at Sandown.
Sandhu set the three-year-old the task of winning the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate or Newmarket Handicap during an autumn that could also include a trip to Sydney for The Championships in April.
