We are excited to share that the Lofty Group will once again be participating in the Southside Racing’s, Southside Slot Series – Victoria’s premier thoroughbred slot racing series. This innovative format continues to bring together the best of the racing industry, and we are proud to be involved alongside leading participants including Lindsay Park Racing, Yulong, and Ciaron Maher Racing.
With $1 million in prize money on offer, the 2025 series features two high-stakes races:
- The Meteorite (1200m) – Ladbrokes Cranbourne Cup Day – 22 November 2025
- The Supernova (1400m) – Sportsbet Pakenham Cup Day – 13 December 2025
Both races are open to three-year-olds and older and will be conducted under set weights and penalties conditions, ensuring strong competition across both events.
Watchme Win to Represent Lofty Group in The Meteorite
We are proud to announce that Watchme Win will carry the Lofty colours in The Meteorite this year. A talented and competitive horse, Watchme Win has shown consistent form and determination on the track, making him an exciting contender for the 1200-metre sprint at Cranbourne Cup Day. Known for his strong finishes and fighting spirit, he embodies the qualities we value at the Lofty Group: dedication, performance, and resilience. With barrier 2 drawn, he has a promising starting position, which will set him up well to run against some strong opposition including Zou Sensation, Jigsaw, and Need Some Luck.
We look forward to seeing him in action and with the weather shaping up beautifully for Saturday, ideal conditions are expected on the track, promising an excellent day of racing.
